Bistro Europa: Oles Farm
For one night Bistro Europa wanted to eliminate the way a restaurant serves your food. We didn't want to stand behind a wall in a kitchen and send our food out on plates to you. We wanted to bring you into our world of fresh foods filled with amazing smells and wondrous tastes. Cooking is an ever evolving art form that is constantly enhanced as the process continues. Every bite, every smell, every shifting of ingredients on the plate creates a delicate balance of sensations that rewards your tastebuds. We wanted to bring you into our world, and the best way to do that was to bring you to the source. We created the first ever Bistro Europa Farm to Table, where for the first time you could walk the farm where we get our ingredients and watch us cook them fresh. Maritime Charter School Crew
My dear friend Brian asked me to come out for the day and capture some footage of the crew team to help put together a reel for one of the team members members returning home to Europe at the end of summer. I thought this was a perfect opportunity to get some real high quality footage with my new Blackmagic Cinema Camera I had just purchased, I am EXTREMELY pleased with the results and can't wait to shoot more with this little (very heavy) fella.
Snout to Tail
On May 19th, Bistro Europa entertained a sold out house with our third annual Snout to Tail Event. With an amazing pig provided by T-Meadow Farms (http://heritagebreedsusa.com/TMeadow.html) our talented chefs, including guest chefs Carmelo Raimondi and Bruce Wieszala, created a stunning 9 course event. It was definitely a night to experience. If you we're not one of the lucky ones to attend don't miss out on next months event on June 30th, Ole's Farm to Table Dinner. http://europabuffalo.com/special-events/

Chad's Carolina Corn
This was as 7 part mini-doc that we did on a Winston-Salem businessman that makes popcorn. Evan and I originally met Chad at a film festival that we were screening a film in. He was selling his popcorn outside of the auditorium and we initially struck up a conversation about the Square payment system he was using. Once we talked a little more in-depth about his operation we just knew we had to make something. We filmed over a couple days and followed up a couple of months later. We had an absolute blast hanging out with and he is a genuinely cool guy, plus his popcorn tastes amazing. For more information on Chad's Carolina Corn, or to order some (trust me, it is worth it) visit his website at: http://www.chadscarolinacorn.com
January Ticket Spot
This was the final ticket spot for the Buffalo Sabres 2013-14 season
Hat Trick Spot
This was the Hat Trick spot the Sabres ran for a special promotion when buying tickets. This would be the last of the spots to have the #blueprint theme incorporated.
October Ticket Spot
This was the first ticket spot for the Buffalo Sabres 2013-14 season. They wanted to adopt their #blueprint theme into the spots and that was the only requirement given to me. As with all the spots I had free reign to go wherever I wanted to. The rotoscoping was the most challenging, and I feel the most rewarding.
Buffalo Sabres November Ticket Spot
this was the november ticket spot for the Buffalo Sabres. They wanted to keep the #blueprint theme going, and I wanted to add something a little more, as not to repeat the previous spot
AT&T It Can Wait Campaign - Steve Ott
AT&T teamed with the Buffalo Sabres for their It Can Wait texting campaign. Steve Ott represented the Buffalo Sabres for the broadcast and personal appearances.
I Am Walk
On Sunday, October 20, the Buffalo Sabres organization hosted a 5k walk to raise money for the Iraq/Afghanistan memorial, which will be built in the Buffalo and Erie County Military Naval Park. The walk was part of the team’s inaugural Community Assist Week.
Along with raising money for the memorial, the tribute walk honored the 64 Western New Yorkers who have lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan since September 11, 2001.
